Some briefs are built entirely around a single idea: two things that shouldn’t work together, working together. Working with Ogilvy, Cass Brothers Productions was engaged to shoot social content for “Simply Better Together” — the collaboration between Cadbury Dairy Milk and Lotus Biscoff.
The brief
Capture the appeal of a “best of both worlds” mashup — creamy chocolate meets caramelised biscuit crunch — in a way that taps into the existing fan bases of both brands and drives instant craving on social feeds.
The shoot
A single full-day shoot in Sydney CBD produced two social cuts, built for fast-scrolling feeds rather than traditional ad breaks: high energy, texture-forward, and paced for platforms where the first second decides whether someone keeps watching.
The result
The campaign reached 2 million views across social channels — a reminder that for FMCG and snack brands, production value matters less than nailing the hook in the opening frame. That’s the brief we look for with agency-led social campaigns: less about a polished 30-second ad, more about content built to perform on the actual platform it’s running on.
